I was inspired to try carving after finding

this black Water Buffalo Horn Hook in Waikiki.

I couldn't find horn easily in Florida, so I used cow bone instead.

Once comfortable with bone, and my Foredom flexible shaft drill,

I moved on to Deer Antler, then eventually gave Fossil Walrus Tusk

and Sheet Copper a try.
