This gauge of Sheet Copper is strong enough to keep its shape,
yet soft enough to be pierced and filed.
Although a natural verdigris finish was desired,
I found that it was only superficial, and rubbed off with wear.
The answer was to "antique" it
with paint and plaster,
which created a durable surface.
