Thank You, Tod Jackson,
for letting me "play" in your theater productions!

There are NO photos of the Sets,
only the Playbill and Poster have survived.
After a long, hard journey, Tod Jackson's magnum opus
premiered in Florida October 21, 1994.
Unfortunately, because we had a very small budget for Sets & Lighting
I really had to innovate.
Inspired by rolling school blackboards,
I built 4' by 8', two-sided-panels and put them on wheels.
The actors were choreographed to bring in their backdrop panel,
perform in front of it, and then take it away.
Blackouts and quiet skateboard wheels helped the "mystery."
Four other sets involved the actor rolling-in an empty frame
and then pulling down a decorated window shade
creating a Phone Booth, Library, Window, and Kitchen.
At intervals, scenes were created and enhanced
by projecting colored gel designs onto a large white Cyclorama.
