I designed our Compound following traditional Bali Hindu rules concerning the proper geographical placement of each building.
Everything but the iron rebar and ceramic tiles
was created by hand...
including the concrete blocks, woven bamboo ceiling panels,
terracotta roof tiles, and the extensive solid Teak woodwork.
Thanks to very talented craftspeople,
this dream on paper became a reality.
